Engine Lineup

The new Santa Cruz is set to be driven by one of two engines. At the base level, you get a 2.5-liter inline-four that's naturally aspirated and gives you 190 horsepower backed up with 180 lb-ft of torque mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Next up, as you upgrade to higher trim levels, is an available inline-four turbo engine at 2.5 liters that gives you 275 horsepower with 310 lb-ft of torque, mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic.

You'll be able to choose front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive on either engine. The dual-clutch transmission really sets this one apart, as it's usually only seen on sports or muscle cars. That tends to indicate a sporty ride in the new Santa Cruz when combined with the powerful engine.

Luxury Touches

The cabin design is nothing short of luxurious, with the infotainment system powered by an optional 10.25-inch touchscreen interface and a matching 10.25-inch gauge and driver information display. The materials consist of soft-touch points, comfortable and supportive seats, and shortcut buttons to help you keep your attention on the road. The cabin has plenty of space front and back for your friends or family and extra cubby hole storage under the seats.
