Hyundai Palisade Vs Kia Telluride – Performance  Palisade

Under the hood of these vehicles, you’re going to find similar lineups, sure to get you where you need to go with vigor. They both include a 3.8L V6 engine that generates 291 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque and are both paired with an easy-to-handle 8-speed transmission.

However, when it comes to available all-wheel drive in these SUVs, there are some differences. In the Hyundai Palisade, you can opt for the progressive HTRAC® 4-wheel drive configuration. This comes with different modes you can change to depending on your terrain, like Normal, Sport, Smart, and Snow. When equipped in snow mode, this special traction gives you more tradition. Plus, with an AWD locking differential, you can feel more secure in slick conditions.

Though the Telluride also comes with an AWD system that includes different modes for Eco, Sport, Comfort, and Smart driving, the snow setting isn’t quite as advanced as the one found in the Palisade, which might leave you feeling a little more vulnerable.

Palisade Vs Telluride – Interior Comfort

Both SUVs models come equipped with plenty of space for you and yours, especially when it comes to legroom. In fact, both offer 42.4 in the second row and a rear legroom of 31.4 inches, though the Pallisade edges out the Telluride in front legroom with 44.1 inches vs. the Kia’s 41.4. They equally can also seat up to eight passengers, as well. However, in certain trims of the Telluride, you can only seat up to seven.

Additionally, for optimal comfort, the Palisade has included an industry-first new roof vent diffuser. This provides a steady stream of fully diffused air to those seated in the back, allowing them to keep cozy no matter the season. Plus, this system is quieter than normal air conditioners and is draft-free. This technology is only found in the Hyundai model and is not available for the Kia Telluride.
