Hyundai Accent Maintenance Schedule

Hyundai Accent

The Hyundai Accent is one impressive vehicle. However, it still needs service to stay in the same great condition as it was when you first drove it off the lot. To help Accent drivers in Bloomington, Martinsville, and Ellettsville stay on track with their scheduled maintenance, we at Andy Mohr Hyundai have put together this detailed maintenance schedule.

Read ahead to see what your vehicle will need at its upcoming service appointments and when you’ll need to schedule them!

Schedule Service

Every 7,500 Miles  oil change

Every 7,500 miles, or about every six months, the Hyundai Accent needs to have a variety of car parts and features inspected to ensure that everything is working correctly including…

• Air conditioning refrigerant

• Brake hoses and lines

• Driveshafts and boots

• Exhaust pipe and muffler

• Front brake discs, pads, and calipers

• Lower and upper arm bolt joints

• Rear brake discs/pads

• Steering gear box, linkage, and boots

• Suspension mounting bolts

• Vacuum hose

Once all of these parts have been looked over and cleared by the technician, there are still a few things that need to be done at these service visits including a tire rotation. Your Accent will also have a few things replaced during this visit including the climate control air filter, and the engine oil and oil filter. Read for your Accent, too.

Every 15,000 Miles automotive service

Starting at 15,000 miles, you’ll need to have a different specified lineup of services. They should be repeated every 15,000 miles thereafter. On top of the parts you’ll have inspected for your 7,500-mile intervals, you’ll also have the following parts inspected every other 7,500-mile visit:

• Air cleaner filter

• Brake fluid

• Clutch fluid

• Crankcase ventilation hose

• Fuel filter

• Fuel tank air filter

• Parking brake

During these visits, you’ll have the same elements replaced as you did at your 7,500-mile service appointments, unless one of the parts being inspected needs some additional attention.

Every 30,000 Miles

Your 30,000-mile service interval appointments will look a lot like your 7,500-mile and 15,000-mile service appointments. However, you’ll have just a couple of extra things looked at while you’re here. Your Accent’s fuel lines, fuel hoses, and fuel connections will all be inspected to ensure that the engine’s fuel is getting where it needs to go without a hitch.

At 120,000 Miles Hyundai service

120,000 miles is an exciting milestone for your Hyundai Accent. To ensure that it’s still in the best shape possible, you’ll have a few extra things looked at during this service visit including…

• Drive belts

• Fuel filler cap and tank

• Fuel lines, hoses, and connections

• Manual transaxle fluid

• Suspension mounting bolts

• Vapor hose

This service appointment will also include the replacement of the climate control air filter, the engine coolant, and the engine oil and filter. Before you go, the tires will also be rotated.
