How Long Does the Battery Last?
Like a lot of other maintenance questions, there isn’t one definitive answer for this because it depends on several factors, such as driving habits, the kind of car you have, and where you live.
Since driving the car charges your battery, not driving much or only taking brief, short trips can lead to a shorter battery life than if you drive it consistently every day.
Heat also takes a toll on a battery. If you live in a region where it’s hot all year round, it can take a toll on the parts faster than if you lived somewhere colder.
The general time table for battery life is every three to four years. Still, keep other factors in mind, too, as they can contribute to a battery dying faster.
