Hyundai Tucson Trim Levels: SE
• 161 horsepower engine
• Auto headlights
• Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist
• Driver Attention Warning
• Android Auto™/Apple CarPlay®
The base-level trim
for the Hyundai Tucson is the SE. This comes with plenty of standard features that set a strong foundation.
For example, it comes equipped with the standard 2.0L I-4 engine that produces 161 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque.
During those nighttime drives, you can enhance visibility with the standard automatic headlights feature. This automatically turns your headlights on and off based on the weather, time of day, and amount of sunlight. With this feature, you don’t have to remember to turn on your headlights at sunset or turn them off when you get home.
It comes with standard smart safety features
, as well, including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist. This system uses sensors to monitor the road ahead for possible hazards. If detected, it’ll issue an alert to slow down and can even automatically hit the brakes for you.
It comes with Lane Keeping Assist, too, plus Driver Attention Warning. The latter feature provides a warning if it detects erratic behaviors that may indicate drowsy or distracted driving. If you hear the chime, it may be a good idea to take a break from behind the wheel.
As for your infotainment technology, you’ll get a 7-inch touchscreen display where you can access some of your favorite apps via Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®. The Bluetooth® hands-free phone system comes standard, too, so that you can make hands-free phone calls while on-the-go.
